Becoming Pregnant, being pregnant and then giving birth and becoming a mother are huge events in a woman’s life. At each stage, a woman can feel lots of mixed emotions.
Unfortunately, as a society, we have created a ‘rose tinted’ picture of what motherhood is like. But in reality, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions as you are thrown into a job you’ve never done before, with no instruction manual and no real time off!
Unsurprisingly, many women find their mental health can decline during this time. If this sounds like you, then i’m here to help. Often through some gentle therapy we can help you get to grips with your new role as a parent and help you move forward and enjoy life again.
